Join us for a walk along Point Pinole Regional Shoreline to see how many different bird species we can identify throughout a variety of habitats!

Point Pinole in Richmond is part of the East Bay Regional Park District and is also a designated state historic landmark. The park boasts a myriad of different habitats, from the sandy shores of San Pablo Pay to marshland, meadows, and eucalyptus groves. Over 100 different bird species call Point Pinole home.

We will meet at the Giant Gunpowder Company landmark plaque at one end of the Giant Highway parking lot. Please note that Point Pinole charges a parking fee per car ($3). Birders and nature enthusiasts of all levels are welcome!
